Pastor Meron Woldehawariat
Pastor Meron is the founder and overseer of Global Faith Mission Ministries, with branches in Johannesburg, South Africa, and Calgary, Canada. Known for his passionate, energetic, and Spirit-filled delivery of the Gospel, Pastor Meron has been reaching people across continents since the beginning of his ministry.
His calling began at a young age while attending boarding school, where he gave his life to Christ through a Catholic Charismatic Movement. Since that transformative moment, he has devoted himself to ministry starting in high school, continuing across various regions of Ethiopia, and eventually expanding internationally.
In 1998, Pastor Meron moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he pursued formal theological training. After graduating from Bible college, he founded Global Faith Mission Ministries Johannesburg in January 2003. Three years later, in 2006, the Lord opened the door to expand the ministry to Calgary, Canada.
Ministry Focus
Driven by a God-given vision to preach the Word with boldness and compassion, Pastor Meron is committed to seeing believers walk in victory spiritually, emotionally, and physically. His ministry emphasizes healing, deliverance, restoration, and living a Spirit-led life according to God's design.
Personal Life
Now based in Calgary, Pastor Meron lives with his wife Tinsae (Tina) Gebremedhin, who also holds a Bible college degree from Johannesburg. Together, they are blessed with three children: Shalom, Luwam, and Asher. In addition to his pastoral and teaching ministry, Pastor Meron is a certified coach and trainer with the John Maxwell Team.
